We enjoyed and absolutely beautiful day and rode around the Ferryville area, culminating with the picnic at the Ferryville Park and a tractor baseball game.
Various modes of transportation were available on this ride, and there was one manlfunction on the way, a tire blew on the hay wagon, so Doyle's people mover was filled up, some people double up on other tractors, Bob gained another passenger and all made it safely back to the park to eat.
Tractor baseball is played kinda like regular baseball. There is a tractor driver and a player. When the player is batting and hits the ball, he jumps on the tractor (usually on the drawbar) and the tractor proceeds to their base. When feilding, the tractor drives to within two feet (approximate distance) of the ball, the player jumps off the tractor, picks up the ball and throws it.
